Our company guarantees:
- The insurance will cover damage to the second car (motorcycle, car) up to 400.000 THB in case of accident (traffic accident).
- Damage to people up to 580.000 Bth
- In the event of a serious accident, we will keep the deposit of 3000-7000 THB (depending on the car model and the severity of the accident).
- But not exceeding the amount of this deposit.
- If the accident is minor and the painting is not needed (only grinding), then we will deduct 1000 THB from the deposit
We guarantee the return of the whole deposit to the client, if no accidents (crashes) happen during the car rental.

Our clients’ stories
Now I will try to explain why the money 3000 -7000 baht is withdrawn from the deposit, depending on the situation.
Let’s take a look at the example of our clients.
During the isolation because of COVID the island was closed and prices were 2.5 times less than usual (our company then survived, so we offered car rent cheaply), our clients rented a car from us. An hour after they took the car, our clients ran over a Thai woman on a bike (this is written in a police report) and crossed a double line.
According to the contract our company takes a security deposit in case of an accident. In this situation, the deposit was 3,000 baht (by the way, now the deposit is for Yaris class cars and the fee is also 3,000 baht).
The insurer’s estimate showed later that the repair of the car would cost 42,000 baht. And the damage that the Thai biker requestedwas 160,000 baht.
The car stood in the garage for 11 days after the spare parts arrived in Phuket.
If an accident happened
ATTENTION! Do not leave the scene of an accident under any circumstances!
Otherwise, the insurance will not work and will not cover the damage to the victims. In addition, if you leave the scene of an accident, it can lead to imprisonment in Thailand.
Renting a car from us, you get the guarantee that ALL CARS ARE INSURED.
If you rented a car from us and there was an accident, you need to immediately contact our manager, he will coordinate all further actions.
While you are waiting for the police, or the emergency commissioner, fix the scene and traces of the accident. Take pictures on your phone, so as to show the location of all vehicles on the roadway, the road signs and markings nearby, the damage all vehicles received, and so on.
This will help to spend the time and prove your rightness later.
By the time the police arrive, our Thai staff will come to you at the scene of the accident, and if we do not have time, then our representative will explain the situation to the police officer by phone in Thai.
Then it will become clear to you what the police are talking about, what version the other participants in the accident are giving. All communication is done by our Thai team. We are always on the side of our clients.
After drawing up the protocol, your license will be taken away and they will tell you which police station to go to. A representative of our company who speaks 2 languages will travel with you. And the operator (manager) will always be online with you in order to translate.
All persons involved in the accident should go to the police station. Our cars are covered by third-party insurance or full insurance and a representative of the insurance company will be present at the case.
The presence of an interested person at the police station, namely our insurance agent, who is backed by the legal department of a large insurance company, as a rule, has a good effect on the official who decides on your guilt or innocence.
The risk that, for example, he will take pity on a poor Thai who suffered from a rich farang tourist and suddenly find you guilty is minimal. If the fault of the parties is not obvious, then you need to be prepared that a farang, that is, you, will be appointed guilty.
We remind you what you must have:
- No alcohol intoxication of the driver.
АTTENTION! if the driver’s blood contains less than 150 mg of alcohol per 1 liter of blood (0.5 ppm, if I’m not mistaken), then he will not be considered drunk. The main thing is not to relax and not to hope for a chance.
- The presence or absence of documents for the car at the time of the accident does not matter. In Thailand, the car can be transferred to any other person without any power of attorney.
During the course of the case, especially if the other party has influential links or relatives, the police may begin to “softly” force you to sign a guilty plea.
They can just give something to sign without explaining anything. There were cases when, after a minor accident, the driver was explained that if he does not plead guilty, they will be forced to appoint an examination, and it is done for several weeks, and until then the car will be in the police and it will not be possible to use it.
So, how did the story with our clients end?
The insurance covered the repair of the Toyota YARIS and 160,000 baht of damages for the injured Thai woman.
The clients, of course, asked to return the deposit, 3000 baht, but we did not return it, as per our contract.
The insurance company, at our request, paid all the damage to the victim. And covered car repairs.
The car was restored with repairs.
